Picking a Las Vegas Hotel:
Many people come to Las Vegas for many different reasons and this city can
accommodate anyone, but you need to know what it is you want to do before
you should decide where to stay. If you are looking to do some serious
gambling and do not want to be in a hotel full of kids you may not want to
go to circus circus. Or if you have no interest in gambling at all and are
just looking for a fun place to take the kids maybe Circus Circus is the
place for you.
Once you know how you want to spend your vacation you can decided where to
spend your vacation.
1) Think about the location. If every thing you want to do were at one end
of the city then why would you stay at the other end of Las Vegas? The
time you spend traveling to the things you want to do could be better
spent doing the things you wanted to do. In addition, if money is an issue
you may want to think about a hotel off the strip. These hotels are just a
clean and comfortable, but do not have all the bells ad whistles of the
strip hotels so they can charge less from a room and save you a few
dollars, and this can allow you to do some of the things you thought you
could not afford.
2) Make sure that the hotel you chose has all the things you need and not
just things that you want. If you have children, you may want to go to a
casino that has a game room or some type of activities for kids, and not
go to a place just because the room has a Jacuzzi or free HBO.
3) Some of the hotels will offer you discounted rates depending on the
time of year that you are going on your Las Vegas vacation. They may also
be willing to give discounts on some of the local attractions. Make sure
to ask about any such deals before booking any vacation.
4) Ask about comps. Many hotel and
casinos will
offer you gifts such as free meals, tickets to a show and even a free
night’s stay for the promise of playing in their casino. Some of these
offers can be very lucrative and to your benefit.
5) Before staying in any hotel in Las Vegas or any other vacation spot you
should check online and read what reviews have been done on that hotel and
see if there are any forums where you can read what others who have stayed
at this hotel have to say about it. When reading about other peoples stays
in a hotel and casino keep in mind that is most people like the place and
one ore two people did not chances are the place is ok and those two
people just had a rare bad experience, this will happen at any of even the
finest hotels in the world.
6) Outside of Las Vegas are some very nice deserts and mountains. You may
want to find a hotel that is close to the edge of town if hiking in nature
sounds like fun to you and if not you may want to get a room at the top of
one of the taller hotels so you can at least have a nice view.
7) Las Vegas is a very popular vacation spot, and attractions can be very
crowded, if you are interested in avoiding all the crowds, you may want to
stay away from all the local activities and look for things a little
further away from the city.
8) Another thing to remember when looking for your hotel is that in any
direction from the strip you can find many hotels within a 10 minute drive
so if you do not like the looks of a place go o to the next hotel..
These are just some of the things you should use to decide where to stay
on your Las Vegas Vacation.

Choosing a Disney Hotel:
Are you and your family looking for a hotel in Orlando for your trip to
Disney World or Universal Studios Orlando? Even experienced Florida
travelers may want some suggestions to find the best hotel in Orlando for
their family. You may be tempted to just make reservations at the hotel
that comes with the first package deal that looks good to you, but with
just a little extra effort and research you may find a hotel in Orlando
that is even better suited to your family’s needs.
Before you choose your hotel, decide what you will be doing in Orlando, or
where you will be spending the majority of your time. If you are going to
be visiting Disney World or Universal Studios Orlando, you might want to
find a hotel in Orlando that is right onsite. Both of these theme parks
have several affiliated hotels and resorts which cater to their guests.
The advantages of choosing a hotel in Orlando that is right onsite of the
theme park of your choice are many. You will be able to get shuttle
service fairly easily from your hotel to the park. You can make quick
trips back to the hotel for naps which you might not be able to do from
another hotel in Orlando. There are restaurants and amenities all within
walking distance and you can get discounts on tickets and food and other
extras.
On the other hand if you choose a hotel that is off-site there are
different yet possibly just as appealing advantages. One of the main
advantages is that you can save money when you stay off-site. The savings
at an offsite hotel in Orlando may be greater than the discounted food and
tickets. Many hotels also offer shuttles to the theme parks on a regular
basis. They have activities and clubs for kids for those days when you
don’t want to go to the theme park.
Amenities that you may want to look for in any Orlando hotel include: pet
friendly hotels, hotels that offer suites or adjoining room packages for
larger families. You can also find hotels that offer full or continental
breakfasts or nightly buffets and dive-in movies. The best time to visit
Orlando and the theme parks is from October to March or April. Look for
all-inclusive packages to get the best deals on airfare, theme park
tickets, rental car, and your hotel.
